  • Pinnacle year for Corvette enthusiasts

For Corvette enthusiasts, 1967 is the most sought after year. The standard engine for the year was the 327 cubic inch V8 producing 300 hp. Of all of the Corvettes available to order that year, the triple carbureted 427 cubic inch V8 was the biggest and baddest. Chevrolet offered this 427 with three horsepower outputs; 390, 400, and 435. All of these advertised horsepower outputs were believed to be under-rated so that customers didn’t have trouble insuring the cars for road use. The combination of it’s looks, power, and history is what makes this car so desirable.

This 1967 Corvette was equipped with the biggest, baddest, most powerful 427 cubic inch, triple carbureted V8, producing 435 hp. In 2018, the car was fitted with an aluminum radiator so that the car would run cooler and be more reliable for road use. We still have the original radiator in a box safely stored with the car. Besides this radiator swap, the car remains all original. The car is finished in Rally Red with the classic black stripe over the cars stinger hood. It is a true beast and drives beautifully. A great classic driver.

This car gives a feel to it’s driver unlike any we have experienced. It’s burble at idle coming from the cars side exhaust shoots adrenaline straight through your veins. Wrapping your hand around the cars oversized wooden steering wheel adds to the ultimate cruising experience. There is no need to go anywhere fast in this car, it’s clear to yourself and everyone around you that you are driving a loaded weapon.
