A car has an input/output relationship meaning whatever inputs you give the car, it will have an output reaction. As exotic cars become more user friendly, they lose their own sense of character and personality, and as the world moves away from manuals, drivers have less inputs ultimately making the driving experience more dull. Ferrari’s manual cars have always stayed true to the gated shifter, which meant the slots are exposed and the metal on metal made a distinctive, satisfying, “click clink” sound between throws. The Ferrari F430 was the last mid-engined Ferrari to offer a manual transmission. In the F430’s short production of only 5 years (2004-2009), it is believed that only a few dozen manuals were built each year. At the time, everyone opted for the new wave of the single clutch F1 technology making the 6-speed manual a very rare car and the last of a breed.

This Ferrari F430 is a highly optioned 6-speed example with 2 tone Daytona seats, a carbon fibre centre dashboard, shields, painted callipers and a yellow tachometer gage. The car was originally delivered to it’s first owner on the 5th of August in 2006. Since then, it has had two other owners (including us), regular service, and has been fully documented throughout it’s life. The car currently sits with only 10,800km and is in immaculate condition. Of all of the F430’s we have seen, this is the best spec’d and best conditioned example.
