The 991.1 GT3 RS truly raised the bar for all track focused road cars. The car checks all of the boxes when considering a powerful, sharp, exciting drive. Designers had three main focuses during development; the engine, downforce, and weight reduction which blend together to create what a true driver could only describe as…perfection.

 

The engine is a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat six, giving it more torque than the “tame” GT3. It produces 493 hp and revs to an 8800 rpm redline keeping the driver engaged while the revs climb…and climb…and climb before grabbing the next gear. The RS was also given a magnesium roof lowering the cars centre of gravity and shaving 10 kg off of the standard GT3. The 991.1 GT3 RS was the first RS to be fitted with only Porsches dual clutch PDK system. Engineers also fitted the car with a rear wing, front spoiler and front vents over the cars wheel arches for added downforce. All of this results in a car that is focused and precise. The shrunken steering wheel increases the accuracy of the drivers input, the added downforce from the wing, spoiler and vents allow the driver to carry more speed through corners, and the engine note at 8800 rpm glues a smile on everybody's face. 

 

This 2016 GT3 RS is arguably the most special example in existence. In 2016, Porsche did not offer the car in their A1 black colour. This car is one of only 2 Canadian cars ordered in black during Porsches brief paint to sample window. The car is heavily optioned with the highlights of; leather and alcantara interior, A/C delete for weight saving purposes, front axle lift system, full carbon fibre seats, lightweight lithium ion battery, and black LED headlights to match the exterior of the car. This is likely the most track focused and rare 991.1 GT3 RS. 

 

The car was allocated to Canada where we bought it new and remain the cars original owner. All of the cars original documents sit with the car in perfect condition. The car sits currently with 205 km on the odometer without a single nick or scratch. It is in its original condition and we take pride in preserving it into the future.
